The ARTS are alive at PA. Today the entire student body was treated with the PA Chorus’s rendition of ‘My Shot’ from Hamilton that featured a student ‘pit band’ and several teachers and staff joined in for ‘back up’ vocals. Later this week, the much anticipated and sure to be amazing ‘Little Mermaid’ will be performed FOUR times by the PA Stage Company (see below for dates and times). And, last week we showcased some thought provoking, creative and flat out gorgeous student artwork in our annual Art Show, which was followed by a fun and entertaining band and chorus performance.

Mastery Reports have been mailed. Again, thank you for your patience while the Mastery Reports were being generated.  As a reminder, students’ Mastery Reports are always available through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.  As a reference please review our Grading and Reporting Change Resource Q & A, which will support your understanding of the changes made to our proficiency-based learning system.  You can also view this table describing the conversion to traditional grades.

Portrait of a Graduate: What skills for LSUU students are most important in the 21st century?

Lamoille South is spearheading an innovative way to create a shared vision for the LSUU graduate by engaging all stakeholders (students, teachers, families, etc.) in the community to understand the most important characteristics, skills, and experiences that graduates of LSUU need to prepare them for success in learning and life. The Portrait of a Graduate (PoG) will be shared with the community following the project and will be used for future strategic planning.

The PoG team is composed of students, staff, community members, parents, and administrators from across the PreK-12 LSUU district.  You will see our *tables set up at various events throughout the year; please stop by and say hello.

You can complete our ONE QUESTION SURVEY here.

Look for our table at the Musical Performances of “Little Mermaid”.
