Dear PAML Families,
Our fall conferences, scheduled for October 10th, will be here before you know it. This is a great time to catch up with your student’s TA teacher and discuss how the year is going so far. At PAML one of our grounding philosophies is to make students a part of these conversations. Over the next few weeks we’ll be helping students prepare for these meetings with you. Please sign up for a conference using the “Meet The Teacher” App here: https://lsuu.meettheteacher.com/
This week we had our first “inside recess” day. Our students did a great job of being flexible and rolling with the adjustment. We try really hard to head outside for recess and other activities any time it’s reasonable to do so. Please help students make sure they have appropriate clothing for outdoor activities each day. This will be particularly helpful as the weather gets cooler and wet days become more frequent throughout the fall.
Finally, we have quite a few field trips scheduled in the upcoming weeks. Please keep an eye on the dates below so you can keep track of when your student is heading off campus. We’re so excited to be able to get back to these routines and activities this year. The time that we have spent without these activities has both re-energized our excitement and caused us to reconsider some previous practices.
Please take a look below for some general reminders and announcements.
Thank you for your continued support.
