Greetings SHS Families!

Time seems to be moving very quickly as we approach the end of January.  The sports and activities calendar is pretty full this week.  Please click here to see what’s happening and where it’s happening.

As we continue to navigate COVID and health protocols, it is essential that we maintain current and accurate student records.  Please continue to submit updated vaccination/booster cards to Janet.

In case you missed the recent notification regarding the SMHS Winter Concert, here is what was sent out:

Greetings SMHS Families,

After careful consideration, the Stowe Middle/High School music and administrative teams have decided to cancel our Winter Concert originally scheduled for Thursday, January 27th.

Before February break, we plan on having our ensembles share their progress with each other in a couple of “informances.”  This will serve as a chance for students to practice their live performance skills and receive some peer feedback. We are looking forward to our spring concert scheduled for Thursday, May 19th.  Hopefully warmer weather and better COVID-logistics will allow for us all to get together safely and successfully to enjoy some live music! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you for your continuing flexibility and ongoing support of arts education in our schools!

Musically yours,
Andy Gagnon – andy.gagnon@lsuu.org
Grace Chris – grace.chris@lsuu.org
Dan Morrison – dan.morrison@lsuu.org
David Greenfield – david.greenfield@lsuu.org
