Greetings Stowe Middle School Families,

Yesterday we hosted Student Orientation on campus! A group of educators spent their morning training returning students from 7th and 8th grade to be our Student Orientation Staff (S.O.S.). This marks our first official Student Leadership opportunity of the school year! Our 6th Graders arrived to the warm welcomes of our student leaders for a half day to promote our core values of belonging, kindness and willingness to grow!

The orientation consisted of the following…

  • Welcome by Principal Dan Morrison
  • Team building workshop with student leaders.
  • Outdoor BBQ Lunch
  • Rotation of workshops that included: Understanding best practices in our technology use, Scavenger Hunt of our school (a tour) and a hands-on art piece focused on student’s hopes and dreams for this school year!

This day was incredible and we were excited to see so many students in attendance! See the photos below of our event!

I am excited to announce that Stowe High School Principal David Greenfield and I will host a ‘Coffee with the Principals’ on Friday, August 27, 2021! Check it out by clicking here and RSVP’ing. By RSVP’ing you’ll get event updates, information and the opportunity to sync the event with any calendars you use.

One last share is about our advisory program and upcoming conferences! Please click here to read important information about Stowe Middle School’s Advisory Program for 2021-22.

We will see you soon!
