Dear PAML Families,

I am happy to report that today we have received some long awaited updated guidance from the Agency of Education.  The guidance addressed physical distancing and other smaller changes that are important to our operations.  Our district teams will be digesting this information immediately and we will report on any changes to our operations as we know them.

This week I’ve shared some great examples of student work that was completed in our building over the past few weeks.  Both the completed Africa mural project and the Harlem Renaissance project are great examples of positive experiences that students are having in our building.  I’ve also included some photos from our 7th grade using their SBAC breaks and nice weather to pick up trash around town.  Over two days the team collected 133 pounds of trash around town.  Finally, I am really proud of our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) team for completing the intensive level of training through VT PBIS and being the only middle school in Vermont to reach this highest level of PBIS implementation.

I am repeating the few questions I received in our form last week and I’ve answered them in the slideshow.  Receiving questions in the form is such a helpful way for me to more deeply understand the information needs of our families.  Please keep the questions coming!

Our operations here at PAML continue to move along safely and smoothly.  Thank you for your continued support in helping make this school year a success.
