On Saturday, March 20, PA science students participated in the annual Science Olympiad. Science Olympiad is one of the premier science competitions in the nation with annual tournaments showcasing innovative STEM content, creating a technological literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers. UVM virtually hosted our students and competed against 3 different local schools focusing on Anatomy & Physiology, Astronomy, and Codebusters to name a few. Overall our students placed 2nd! Congratulations to our Science Olympiad Team!
Senior Families, We would like to say thank you for the positive feedback that we have received from our Parents of Seniors Feedback form. Bottle Drive: Since PA Project Graduation had such a great turnout with the last bottle drive they have decided to see if we can do it again. On Saturday, April 10th from 10:00-2:00 PA seniors will be collecting bottle donations in the lot across from MOCO. We know our community loves to support our students and this small donation goes a long way.
The LSUU Board of Directors and Administration are again asking for your feedback. LSUU is seeking to better understand what families and students need, and want your feedback to establish more two-way channels for communication. Yearbooks: Now is the time to order your copy of the 2021 Peopleonian! We only have a limited number of copies available, so please ORDER NOW. The yearbook committee is hard at work finalizing the pages to document this interesting and different school year. A yearbook costs $55. Payment plans are available – just order one with at least a down payment to make sure you have one in June. Contact Michele in the office to order or with questions.
PA Gear: The booster club is pleased to announce that there is another opportunity for you to purchase PA Gear! The virtual store is OPEN NOW at Vermont Green Printing. Order deadline is Wednesday, March 31st. You can pay for shipping directly to your home or free shipping to school where you will then pick it up. Orders should be ready by April vacation.
College Cost Junior Families Night: On Wednesday, April 7th from 6pm-7pm there will be a presentation for parents/guardians of Juniors to learn more about managing college costs. VSAC’s presentation provides an overview of how families pay for college and the different types of financial aid available. Everything you need to join the Zoom presentation is below.
