Welcome Back! We are so excited to hear about all the creative avenues that students took to safely enjoy their winter break. We are equally excited to again engage with students and embark on the next stage of our learning. The excitement continues with the announcement of school staff being eligible for the vaccine. This will greatly support the main goal of getting students more time in the classroom. Keep up the great work, our pack is definitely a strong one!
Winter Carnival was a huge success and sent us all into the break with positive vibes and eagerness to enjoy some downtime. Thank you NHS for planning such a successful event.
You’re invited to our VIRTUAL Parent Event – Racism, Antiracism and You! on Tuesday, March 9th! Participants will learn how Lamoille South educators are taking steps in creating anti-racist classrooms and curriculums. You’ll have the opportunities to learn, practice and understand strategies educators are using to teach students about race, social identities and racism. After the session, participants will have access to a FREE PARENT TOOLKIT to help explore this work with their children too!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors, please check out this information about Virtual College Fairs happening all over the country! BigFuture Days and NACAC Virtual College Fairs are meant to connect students directly with colleges in a way that helps them learn more than what is available online and take action to plan for college. See your school counselor for more information or if you have any questions!

Snow Days Are School Days: In the event of a snow day or inclement weather, PA has devised a remote learning plan so that students can continue with their courses. When we have a snow day, we will follow our current schedule remotely. Example – Monday is a normal hybrid school day: green cohort comes to school. Tuesday is a snow day, so there is no in-person learning, but gold cohort students attend a ‘snow day’ Google meet (green is welcome to join, but not required beyond normal remote day expectations).
Yearbooks: Now is the time to order your copy of the 2021 Peopleonian! The yearbook committee is hard at work taking pictures and making pages to document this interesting and different school year. A yearbook costs $55. Payment plans are available – just order one with at least a down payment to make sure you have one in June as extras are not ordered. Contact Michele in the office to order or with questions.
